A Proposal is the final, branded version of a deal that is shared with external users. Learn how to set up the templates, generate proposals and share with guests.
Overview
Unlike traditional slides, Estii generates proposals automatically from your deal data.
- Populates templates automatically based on your theme and data.
- Templates have limited options for customisation.
- You can view and present generated proposals online,
- You can export to PowerPoint, PDF or images.

Settings
General
General settings that apply to the entire presentation include the default theme, and global header/footer.
- Override theme: Override the default theme for the deal
- Primary contact: Appears on the βThank youβ slide. Defaults to the deal owner
- Header and footer: Override global header/footer text
- Show page numbers: Toggle the visibility of page numbers on slides
- Show/hide skipped slides: Skipped slides are greyed out in the preview by default.
Proposal settings
Slide specific
Click on a slide to view the template-specific settings. Editing a template that flows across multiple slides will update all effected slides.
Common slide settings include:
- Skip slide toggle
- Slide title or heading

Exports
Yout can export proposals to PowerPoint, PDF or images.
- Export PDF pixel-perfect export, ideal for sharing
- Export Powerpoint fully editable, but minor visual differences
- Master slides per theme with background, dynamic page numbers and header/footer text.
- Looks good in PowerPoint, Keynote, and slightly less good in Google Slides (sorry)
- PPTX only supports bold/normal font styles. You may need to install/adjust fonts after export.
- Export Images download all slides as images (zip file)
- You can also right click on a slide to copy slide contents as a transparent PNG

Present online
Click on the Present button in the deal header to launch the proposal viewer.
Templates
The length of a presentation is determined by the number of phases, features and resources used across the deal.
- Each template updates automatically based on the data available
- Templates respect the the order of elements defined in the deal (e.g. the order of phases or features)
- Templates will spread across multiple slides when required

Phase templates
Phase templates provide a visual summary of each phase by category, resource and stream.
When there is only one phase, the phase summary is hidden, and other slides are moved into the overview section
If there is one or less items in a summary category, that slide will be hidden

Appendices
Appendices contain itemised scope and price lists based on the contents of the deal. These are organised by phase, category and item. Each appendix only appears when there is data available.
- Scope of work β itemised breakdown by category. Use slide settings to control inclusion of estimates and/or units and prices
- Additional category appendices β for categories with separate appendixes
- Payment milestones β if payment milestones are used in the deal
- Rate cards β based on roles used in the deal
