Client mode + variables 🎢

Welcome to Estii's first product update of the year! We're thrilled to share some new features and enhancements to help you estimate and present deals more quickly and effectively.

Client mode

Collaborate with clients and external stakeholders without revealing sensitive data such as margins, target prices, and warnings. Just enable Client Mode from the deal header and proceed with updating the deal as usual.

Variables

Estimate recurring services that scale month-over-month based on a range of values or predicted growth rate, such as:

• Tiered licences that increase based on client's projected user numbers
• Hosting services that scale with volume or activity
• Support minutes that decrease after the initial launch / warranty period

New role importer

The all-new role importer makes it easy to keep your roles and rate cards up to date. It can upload any spreadsheet or CSV format, and includes automatic field detection, inline validation and inline data preview.

Schedule breakdowns

Keep track of the costs associated with your chosen schedule and delivery cycle by viewing the price breakdowns on the schedule page, including round ups and round downs, and an automatic scheduling row that appears on the features page.

We've also added a scheduling row to the estimates features page, so you can easily keep track of scheduling while editing features.

Interactive proposals

Quickly navigate thorugh proposals with the interactive table of contents and back to top links.

Control the level of details and pricing to include in detailed scope templates detailed scope templates.

Other improvements

Based on customer feedback, we've also rolled out a number of improvements to schedules, proposals, deals and streams. We've also released a bunch of internal performance and stability improvements

Deal prices and breakdowns

• Deal header now always displays price in full
• Within a deal, formatted prices (e.g. $12.3K) will display the full price on hover
• Breakdowns now also display full prices
• Fixed a bug on safari where breakdowns didn't resize properly

Proposal templates

• The Services template uses the deal currency when available
• Rate cards correctly displays multiple rate cards across multiple phases
• Slide settings now display placeholders and can be cleared more easily
• The Scope slide settings respects custom titles

Deal accounts

• You can now add, remove or edit the account property of a deal from the deal settings

Stream breakdowns

• On the streams page, hover over the units or price column to view a breakdown of resources within a stream
