The sample space

The sample space is a ready-made copy of a services business called Northbridge. Use it to see how Estii works with a full pipeline, and to try things without touching your own space.

Open the sample space

Every space has its own sample space. Open it from either place:

the space menu at the bottom of the sidebar, under your space
the ... menu on the pipeline, with Open sample space

The first time anyone opens it, Estii takes a few seconds to prepare it. Everyone in your space shares the same sample space.

What you can do

You can create and change deals, build estimates, request and give approvals, present proposals and export them. You can also change the sample space's settings, such as estimation rules, features and workflow automations. Everyone in your space can do all of this in the sample space, whatever their role in your own.

The people who own the sample deals are sample people. They are marked Sample wherever you can pick or see a person.

It resets

The sample space resets 48 hours after it was prepared. The banner at the top shows how long is left. Anything changed in it is lost, and the next person to open it gets a fresh copy.

Choose Reset sample on the banner to reset it sooner. A reset applies to everyone in your space.

What is not available

Some things are turned off in the sample space, and Estii tells you when you try one:

importing a deal or a rate card
exporting to Jira or ClickUp
inviting people, API keys, security and billing
connecting Jira, ClickUp, Slack or Salesforce
more than five new deals

Email notifications and workflow automations do not run from the sample space. Proposals and exports from it are marked as sample data.

All of these work in your own space.
