Run Estii through agents

Overview

This release gives your agents a much larger working surface across Estii. They could already read space and deal content; now they can manage more of it through the CLI and MCP server.

• Update deal contents, including scope, estimates, milestones, versions, and Library-backed items
• Create deals from templates, copies, or existing deal structures
• Browse, edit, and propose changes to Library items
• Manage space resources, including roles, products, streams, rate cards, and tags
• Read forecast impact before applying deal updates
• Hand back to the exact deal, version, or app panel when a decision needs review

Space context for agents

Before an agent changes a deal, resource, or Library item, it can ask Estii how your space works. The estii context command gives it your terminology, roles, products, phase templates, and reusable Library content.

It also explains how deals are structured, how estimates work, what changes may be refused, and how deal lifecycle states work.

We've also updated the website's llms.txt index so agents can follow the context into the right help or developer docs.

Deal creation and edits

Agents can now create and update deals through the CLI and MCP server. That includes scope, estimates, Library-backed items, milestones, versions, and resyncing a deal with the latest space resources.

Library access

Agents can now browse and edit Library items. They can write changes directly where allowed, or propose changes for human review before those items become available for reuse.

Pending proposals now appear as a badge on the Library page.

Resource management

Roles, products, and streams are now editable too, along with the rate cards and tags they use for pricing and grouping.

Forecasts

Agents can now read the forecast impact of a deal change before it is applied.

That means they can report how a scope update, schedule change, or resource change affects revenue timing and capacity, using the same deal structure Estii uses in the app. The agent can do the maths, show you the movement, and stop before the commercial decision.

Handover to the app

When a change needs visual review or mapping, the agent can link you to the exact deal, version or page in the app.

A common case is a rate update where a retired resource needs a replacement. The agent stops there and hands you to the panel instead of choosing for you.

Also, Update deal now shows the price and margin impact before you apply a change. Agents report the same numbers before applying a deal update.

With agents now able to handle much more of the structured work around Estii, there are more ways to work outside the app.
