Realtime presence and customisable deal terminology

Overview

This release introduces realtime presence for collaborative work on deals, along with the ability to customise key deal terminology such as feature and overhead.

We have also included a small set of fixes and stability improvements.

Realtime presence

See who else is currently working in the same deal, feature, or task in real time.

  • Presence indicators appear anywhere deals, features, and tasks are shown
  • Presence avatars: select an avatar to jump directly to that teammate's current page
  • Presence rules: Active - last 30 seconds, Recent - last 3 minutes, Stale - up to 1 hour
  • Presence settings: disable via Space settings → Features

Customise deal terminology

You can now tailor key estimation terms to better match your team's language.

  • Update terms such as feature, overhead, service, expense, and stream
  • Set space-wide defaults via Settings → Estimation → Terminology
  • Override terminology on individual deals when required

Fixes and improvements

This release includes a number of small changes to improve stability, clarity, and performance.

  • Changed: Proposal appendices with multiple phases no longer repeat the phase type in the page title. For example, “Phase 1 - Services” is now shown as “Phase 1”, as the type is already displayed above and below the title
  • Fixed: Removed misleading console warnings
  • Fixed:: Deal overview page now correctly calculates work days when work unit = hour
  • Fixed: Minor layout issues with bullet points
  • Fixed: Removed a “new” badge from a feature released over a year ago!
  • Fixed: Internal deal description not editable in deal settings
  • Fixed: Adding comments now autofocuses the comment input
